Joseph C. Johnson
Joseph C. Johnson is the founder of Joseph C. Johnson, P.C., and is also a co-founder and Fellow of EPICOR, an estate planning and wealth strategies collaborative.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. For many years Mr. Johnson was the speaker at estate planning seminars for other attorneys sponsored by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Joe has practiced exclusively in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration, and Real Estate, for over 40 years. He is committed to providing quality legal services to his clients in the most cost-efficient manner possible. He understands that whether it is Estate Planning, or Trust or Probate Administration after someone becomes incapacitated or dies, his clients are trusting him with what they hold most dear — protecting themselves and their beneficiaries, and leaving a legacy.
Joe places great emphasis upon listening to his clients, and teaching them about various aspects of Estate Planning, or Trust or Probate Administration. He believes that his clients should understand the reasons for his recommendations.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Composition from DePauw University, and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University.
Joe enjoys reading, golfing, listening to classical music (particularly when performed by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in Roy Thompson Hall), and attending performances by the Santa Fe Opera.
In addition, Joe enjoys traveling, particularly to Hawaii during any of the months of December through March, and also to Piedmont, Tuscany, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Napa, in a continuing effort to analyze and compare their extremely diverse yet similar cultures.
